TRAINING & EDUCATION BIMA ACADEMY
In 2015, the Company held several trainings and briefings for all employees including the front liners. All business units employees were gathered together, trained and developed to become a united force with the spirit of One Team, One Goal, One Bima.
With unity in spirit, Bima becomes a streamlined team with great strength to compete in the market it is in. As with other businesses, human resource is the vital asset that needs to be continuously improved and developed because it is the main factor that determines the company’s success in a fierce competition. Management recognizes that to survive the competition, the company has to design a program for continuous human resource development which is called Bima Academy.
Bima Academey is a means to recruit high quality human resource internally or externally through a tight selection process to get into the management trainee program. In the future Bima Academy will also serve as the company’s training center.
Before the establishment of Bima Academy, the company has done several human resource training activities in 2015, namely:
‘Leadership Knowledge’ Training was a leadership training process that was applied to branches in Jakarta, Lampung and Makassar. The training was held to equip the management level employees with problem solving competency in their respective branches and supervisory knowledge.
‘Branch Improvement Process’ training was a training program applied on all branches. The training was held to equip managers, supervisors and staffs with competency to improve the performance in their respective branches.
Bima Academy founded in 2016, the company hoped that the Academy would produce high quality human resource in all stages of the company’s organizational structure through competency standardization and adherence to the values of the company’s corporate culture.

Launching of Bima Academy
On February 15, 2016 located in Bima Academy building in Podomoro, Jakarta, the Company launched Bima Academy and appointed the Participants for MDP Batch-1 in Bima Academy for the year 2016 as the first stage.
By launching Bima Academy, the company was confident it would be able to produce quality graduates as future leaders for the company with integrity, responsibility, professionalism, teamwork spirit and high discipline through Bima Academy.
